The Commission will announce the availability of the Application Form on the above-mentioned date. The closing date of SSC MTS Recruitment 2016-17 Application Process is January 20, 2017. Candidates under SSC MTS Recruitment will be selected on the basis of their performance in the Paper-I and Paper-II exam. The Paper-I exam of SSC MTS will be OMR based Test. The exam will be conducted on April 16 & 30, 2016 and May 7, 2017. The Admit Card for the Paper-I exam will be made available for downloading in March 2017. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in Paper-I will be called for the Paper-II. The Result of the Paper-I will be declared in the month of August 2017. The applications of the candidates may be rejected on certain grounds if the information and fee payment etc. shall not be done as required. Hence, such candidates will not be issued the admit card.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2016

Admit card shall be issued to the successfully registered applicants only. The Commission will upload the e-admit card of the candidates on its website. The Direct link to download the admit card will be provided on this page. It is expected to be released in the mid of December. Each candidate is required to bring the print out of their admit card on the day of the exam. The admit card will mention the important details viz. centre of the exam, date of the exam, reporting time at the exam centre etc. In case of any mistake in the admit card, candidates is required to bring it to the notice of the authorities at the earliest for necessary corrections.

When will I get my Admit Card?

 

The SSC MTS Admit Card 2016 will be made available 2 to 3 weeks before the commencement of the examination. The Admit Card will be released region-wise.

 

What details will be mentioned in the Admit Card?

 

The Admit Card of SSC MTS will contain all the important details related to the examination such as Name of the candidate, Test date, Test city and centre address, User ID/Registration No and Category etc.

 

Will the Admit Card be sent to me by post or I have to download it Online?

 

The Admit Card will be released both offline and online. The online downloading of Admit Card will be made available one week before the exam. However, candidates will receive their Admit Card by post three weeks before exam.

 

If I do not get my Admit Card, whom should I contact?

 

If any candidates does not receive Admit Card for the examination or unable to download it one week before the date of examination must immediately contact the concerned Regional/Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission. The candidates will have to submit proof of his/her application.

 

Candidates who will apply online but are unable to download their Admit Card or who did not receive it at least one week before the date of examination should contact the concerned Regional Office with details such as Registration ID, Transaction ID of SBI, copy of challan, etc. for obtaining the Admission Certificates.

 

What if I forgot my Registration No or Roll No?

 

If any candidates have forgot their Roll No and Registration No while downloading their Admit Card can reset it.

 

Important Instruction related to SSC MTS Admit Card 2016

The candidates after downloading the Admit Card of SSC MTS should take a print-out of the same.

The Admit Card will be sent by post as well as will be released online.

Candidates who will not receive their Admit Card before the exam should immediately contact the concerned regional offices.

It is mandatory to carry the Admit Card to the examination centre on the day of exam. Candidates failing to produce their Admit Card will be debarred from appearing the exam.

SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2016

As per the scheme of the SSC MTS examination, there shall be two papers viz. Paper – I and Paper – II. Paper- I will be entirely objective while Paper- II will be descriptive in nature. There will be four sections – General Intelligence & Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness in the Paper-1. While, the Paper – II will be comprised of a Short Essay/Letter to be written in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution. Paper- II is simply qualifying in nature. It is intended to test the elementary language skills of the candidates to be suitable for the post.

Highlights of the SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2016 of Paper 1

The Paper 1 of SSC MTS will consist of Objective Type –Multiple Choice Questions only.

There will be total 150 questions.

The test will carry total 150 marks.

The time allotted for the test is 2 hrs for the general candidates and 2 hrs 40 mins for physically challenged candidates.

The questions will be set in both English and Hindi.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

Highlights of the SSC MTS 2016 Paper 2 exam

The Paper II of SSC MTS will be descriptive test in which the candidates will be required to write short essay/letter in English or any Language include in the 8th schedule of the constitution.

Paper II will be qualifying in nature.

This paper is to test the elementary language skills in view of re-categorization of the post.

Paper-II will be conducted only for those candidates who meet the prescribed Cut off in Paper-I.

SSC MTS is Staff Selection Commission Multi Tasking Staff / Non-Technical. Here are some conditions under the Eligibility Criteria of SSC MTS exam.’

 

Nationality –

Citizen of India, or

Subject of Nepal, or

Subject of Bhutan, or

Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age –The age of the candidate must be in between 17-25 years under the Eligibility Criteria of SSC MTS 2015. The relaxation will be provided to the reserved category of candidates. The equivalent certificate should to given to the commission for the proof of date of birth.

 

Educational Qualification–The student must pass his/ her Matriculation exam or any other from the recognized board.

SSC MTS Result 2016

Staff Selection Commission usually announces the result within 2-3 months. The result of the written exam of SSC MTS 2016 shall be announced tentatively in April 2016. Important Points related to SSC MTS Result 2016

The SSC MTS Result 2016 will be declared in two phases- Paper-I and Paper-II.

Candidates who qualify the paper-I exam by securing the desired cutoff will appear for the Paper-II exam.

The Paper-II exam of SSC MTS is Descriptive Test carrying 50 marks.
