Age Limit: Candidates minimum age limit is 20 years & maximum age limit is 30 years as on 01-11-2016 i.e. a candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-11-1986 & not later than 01-11-1996 (both dates inclusive). Upper age relaxation of 05 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe, 03 years for Other Backward Classes, 10 years for Persons With Disability candidates & Others is applicable as per rules.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on CRP SPL-VI examination & interview.

IBPS Specialist Officers Eligibility Details: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Recruitment Process (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various cadres like IT, Agriculture Field, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law, HR, Marketing in various public sector banks. Candidates, intending to apply for CRP SPL-VI should ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

Nationality/ Citizenship: A candidate must be either –

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

IBPS Specialist Officers Selection Process Details: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Recruitment Process (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various cadres like IT, Agriculture, Law, Marketing, HR and Rashtrabhasha Adhikari etc in various Public Sector Banks. IBPS specialist officer’s selection process details are given below…

 

Selection Procedure: IBPS will conduct Common Recruitment Process in two stages- Common Written Examination and Common Interview.

 

Common Written Examination: Examination will consists of Objective type questions printed in Bilingual format, except for English paper. Total Marks for Common Written Examination is  200 marks and the time duration is 120 minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question.

 

Common Interview: Candidates who have been shortlisted in the examination for CRP SPL will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organisations and coordinated by the nodal banks with the help of IBPS. The total marks allotted for Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). The weightage (ratio) of Online CWE (exam) and interview will be 80:20. The combined final scores of candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL) & Interview. Interview score of the candidates failing to secure minimum qualifying marks or otherwise barred from the interview or further process shall not be disclosed.

 

Provisional Allotment: On completion of the interview process, depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2017- 18 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations, based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, various guidelines issued by Govt. of India/Others from time to time, administrative exigency, etc. Vacancies given in this advertisement are indicative. Provisional allotment shall be done on the basis of final vacancies to be reported by the Participating Organizations. Candidates should not claim indicative vacancies as final for provisional allotment. No change in the data already registered by the candidate in the online application form is possible.

 

The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment of a candidate to a Participating Organisation shall be final and binding upon the selected candidates. However IBPS reserves the right to cancel and reallot Organisation-wise allocation depending upon exigencies or otherwise. Offer of appointment is solely the decision of the Participating Organisations and shall be final and binding. IBPS has no role here.

IBPS Specialist Officers Exam Pattern Details: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts Common Recruitment Process (CWE) for the recruitment of Specialist Officers in various cadres like IT, Agriculture, Legal, Marketing, HR and Rashtrabhasha Adhikari etc in various Public Sector Banks.   1. Negative Marking: There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.

 

  1. Cutoff Score: Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test and also a minimum total score to be considered to be shortlisted for interview. Depending on the number of vacancies available, cut-offs will be decided and candidates will be shortlisted for interview. Prior to the completion of the interview process, scores obtained in the online examination will not be shared with the candidates shortlisted for interview.

 

  1. Scores: The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will be normalized using equi-percentile method. Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations

 

  1. All tests other than Professional Knowledge Test shall be qualifying and marks obtained in such tests shall not be added for merit listing for interview.
